The annual Holland Society New England Branch fall luncheon will be held on Saturday, November eighth, at the Peabody Essex Museum in
Salem, Massachusetts, upon the opening of a new exhibit, "To the Ends of the Earth, Painting the Polar Landscape." More information
about the museum can be found on their website www.pem.org.
The reception will begin at 12 noon on the enclosed patio (weather permitting) followed by a wonderful fall
luncheon prepared by the Hawthorne Hotel staff of Salem. Everyone is encouraged and invited to browse
throughout the Museum, one of the finest marine museums in the country, with a large collection of early
American furniture and antiques.
Kindly mark your calendar for this extraordinary day with your Holland Society friends and associates.
Ample parking is available. Details will be forthcoming early in the fall when you will receive a formal
invitation for this delightful event.

VanDerbeek IV, President, joins Bruce and Dianne Van Voorhis celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday, September 15, 2007, at the New England Branch’s annual luncheon in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Joining Bruce and Dianne are Bruce’s mother, Marjorie Ayles Van Voorhis of Ocala, Florida; his brother Harold of Webster, New York; sons, Stephen and Christopher, both life members of The Holland Society; and five grandchildren.
